The activation process is very simple. Call the Easy! Activation hotline number using your mobile phone/PHS and just enter the number printed on the package.
You may use the SIM right after you purchased it as we do not have complicated contract like other data communication services.

Please go through the procedure specified in each product's page to start using voice SIM products and monthly payment products.

How to activate the SIM

Please enter the 11-digit number.
The Activation process is complete.
You may start using the SIM in about 5 minutes after you have completed the activation process.
For Chameleon SIM, b-mobile WiFi 2 100 days Package, or IDEOS 200 days Package
Please enter 11-digit phone number.
We will complete your activation process after you enter the above 11-digit phone number.
・If you enter the 11-digit number between 10am - 8pm, your SIM will be activated witin about one hour.
・If you enter the 11-digit number after 8pm, your SIM will be activated by 11AM of the next day.

Customers who do not have a Japanese mobile phone and wish to activate by calling helpdesk, you credit card will be charged for 2,381 yen (excluding tax) as a charge for activation service.

A: You can activate through mobile phones and PHS starting with 090, 080, 070.
Is the activation process and user registration the same thing?
A: No. The activation process is a mandatory process necessary to start using your b-mobile SIM.
  User registration is not manditory, however there will be a variety of benefits.
I have more than one b-mobile SIM. Is it possible to activate using the same phone number?
A: Yes, you can.
More than one person will be using the b-mobile SIM card. What should I do in this case?
A: Please activate through the representative person's mobile phone/PHS.
A friend has given me their b-mobile SIM card. Is it possible to re-register this card?
A: Yes you can. Please contact our b-mobile help desk for further information.
Is it possible to delete the information registered during activation process?
A: Yes, you can delete the entered information.
  However, you will not have access to Internet until you have completed the activation process once again.

I have changed my mobile phone and have a new phone number. What should I do?

I have disposed the packaging before completing the setup and do not know my 3G phone number.

During the activation process, I entered the wrong PSID number. Is it possible to revise this?
A: Please call the Easy! Activation hotline number again and enter the correct PSID and complete the process.
Do I have to use the same phone number when completeing the activation process and user registration?
A: If the number you are calling from are both registered to you the phone numbers do not have to be the same.
I have been using b-mobile SIM before the activation process was introduced. Can I still use it?
A: Yes, you can. However you will need to go through the activation porcess when using an update license which states "activation process is necessary".
I would like to re-set in my present PC or set up on another PC. However I have not been able to get activated.
A: If you have previously successfully completed the activation process, you do not need to re-activate. Please go through the set-up process exempt the activation portion.
I have replaced the b-mobile SIM due to a failure, theft or loss. Do I need to go through the activation process again?
A: No, you do not need to go through the activation process again. You should be able to use it.
I'm from abroad and I do not have a mobile phone. How can I complete the activation process?

As I have only recently arrived in Japan, I do not have a mobile phone. How can I activate my b-mobile?
A:Activation is possible even without a mobile phone.

Can you disclose the information that was given during activation process?
A: Under the disclosure provision, we are permitted to disclose personal information only to that individual.
How will the information that was entered during the activation process be used?
A: The registered information will be tied to the b-mobile SIM and will not be used for any other purpose.
However, we will be required to disclose the information if given a search warrant from the police.
How long will the information registered during activation process be retained?
A: According to our internal policy, and in accordance to the protection of personal information we will retain it as deemed necessary.
