Details about service period

Time from purchase until eSIM is ready to use.

After purchase, you will be able to use the eSIM as soon as you receive an email with the subject "eSIM is ready to use".
The time it takes to receive the email depends on when the purchase was completed.

Service start deadline

Need to start using the internet within 14 days after you receive an email with the subject "eSIM is ready to use"

Service period countdown

The service period countdown will start from the next day from your first use of Internet. For example, if you start using the Internet from June 1, the service period countdown will start from June 2.

If you do not start using the Internet by the service start deadline, the service period countdown will automatically start from the next day.

Details about shipment and service period

Shipment date	You need to choose the shipment date in ordering page. For details on delivery dates please check HERE. [NOTE] The package needs to be signed at the door. If there is no one to answer the door, you'll receive a re-delivery note and the package will be sent back to the courier and you'll need to contact them by yourself to ask for a re-delivery.
Service start deadline	Need to start using the Internet by the end of the following month after the shipping date. You will not be able to use the Internet after the service start deadline, so be sure to use the Internet before the service start deadline. We will not be providing a refund for any reason once the order has been completed.

If there is no one to answer the door, you'll receive a re-delivery note and the package will be sent back to the courier and you'll need to contact them by yourself to ask for a re-delivery.

What you need for pickup	Please have your Passport with you when you go pick up the package at the post office in the airport. If you weren't able to pick up the package, the package will be kept at the airport post office for 7days from your designated pickup date. Unfortunately we cannot forward the package to a different address that you'll need to pick up the package within these 7 days. We will not be providing a refund for any reason once the order has been completed.
Service period countdown	The service period countdown will automatically stat from the next day from designated pickup date. For example, if your pickup date is June 1, the service period countdown will start from June 2.

Add data or extend the service period	You can add data to your eSIM or extend your service period from the status page. [Price] 1GB / 500 yen (tax included) / 1 day (until 23:59 Japan time
Personal hotspot / tethering	Able to share the network. Please check if your device allows to use the personal hotspot or tethering feature.
Network coverage	VISITOR SIM uses NTT docomo network and it is available in most places in Japan.
Traffic control	JCI reserves the right to conduct network traffic controls on continuous data communications such as file exchange (P2P) applications. JCI reserves the right to conduct Bandwidth control on continuous data communications.
