No, Internet Service fees are included in the cost of b-mobile.
- Will I be liable for any additional costs such as running charges after I purchase my b-mobile?

No, all data communication fees, internet service provider fees and data communication terminal fees are all included in the sale price of b-mobile3G. With b-mobile3G, you only pay once - at purchase.
* This does include not ex-warranty terminal replacement costs. - How much do I have to pay each month for data communication?

All data communication fees are included in the purchase price of b-mobile3G. There are no monthly data costs or other running costs with b-mobile3G.
* When you have used up your b-mobile3G time, you can recharge your b-mobile3G by purchasing an “Extend License”.

Service Specifications
- Is there any software that is not compatible with my b-mobile3G?

Networked software (TCP/IP and UDP), such as web browsers and e-mail programs, can be used with b-mobile3G. However, JCI reserves the right to restrict the use of data applications that may impact the service level of all users, such as file sharing software and streaming video, etc.. Further, communication over certain protocols may be subject to temporary restrictions to protect our customers from worms, viruses and other Internet-based threats.
- Can I play networked games or use Instant Messenger services on my b-mobile3G?

Yes, b-mobile3G is compatible with networked games and Instant Messenger services. However, due to the nature of packet communication, users may not receive optimal performance for voice communication or for video chat. Further, connection speed may slow with networked games that transmit very large amounts of data.
- Can the microSD card slot be used on PCs that do not have b-Access installed?

Yes, however you will need to install the USB 3G Connector’s drivers on to the PC. (Driver install occurs automatically when you install plug the USB 3G Connector in to the PC).
- I would like to cancel my b-mobile3G.

b-mobile3G is a purchased telecommunications product with 3G communication fees, ISP fees, data terminal, etc., all included in the purchase price. As such, it is not possible to cancel your b-mobile3G.
- Do I receive an e-mail account with my b-mobile3G?

b-mobile3G does not come with a e-mail account.
Setup and Configuration
- Are non-b-Access connections to the Internet allowed on b-mobile3G?

b-mobile3G is not intended for use with connections made outside of the b-Access connection tool. For details, please contact the b-mobile Helpdesk.
- Can I use connection software other than b-Access with my b-mobile3G?

No, b-mobile3G is only compatible with the b-Access for b-mobile3G connection tool.
- Is it difficult to setup an Internet connection with b-mobile3G?

No, setting up an Internet connection with b-mobile3G is easy. Simply install the b-Access Internet connection tool, insert the USB 3G Connector in to your PC and click “Connect” in b-Access. Even Internet novices will find b-mobile3G easy to use.
- Can I connect to a non-JCI access point with my b-mobile3G?

No, b-mobile3G will only connect to the b-mobile3G access point. It cannot be connected to other provider’s access points or to remote access servers.
- I have just restored my computer to its factory default stage. How do I reinstall/setup my b-mobile3G?

To reinstall/setup your b-mobile3G, simply install b-Access on to your PC from the CD included in your b-mobile3G box. After installation, insert the USB 3G Connector in to your PC. That’s it! You’re ready to go again!
- b-Access is displaying the following error message: “Cannot open port”. What should I do?

Please remove and reinsert your USB 3G Connector. If this does not resolve the issue, please restart your computer. If the problem persists, please contact the b-mobile Helpdesk.
- The LED light on my USB 3G Connector will not turn red. What should I do?

Your USB 3G Connector may not be properly inserted in to your PC. Please remove it from the USB port and reinsert. If the problem persists, please contact the b-mobile Helpdesk.
- The LED light on my USB 3G Connector will not switch from red to green. What should I do?
