About Easy! Activation
To activate your b-mobile, simply call the b-mobile Easy! Activation number from a cellular or PHS phone and enter the activation number printed on your b-mobile box.
That’s it! Your b-mobile will activate within 15 minutes of completion.
How to complete Easy! Activation
Step 1: Ring the Easy! Activation number from a cellular or PHS phone.
Step 2: Follow the audio guidance and enter the activation number that corresponds to your b-mobile product.
b-mobile3G: Easy! Activation
To activate b-mobile3G, please enter your b-mobile’s 11 digit phone number.
b-mobile (PHS): Easy! Activation
To activate b-mobile (PHS) please enter your b-mobile’s 9 digit PSID.
That’s it! Your b-mobile will activate within 15 minutes of completing Easy! Activation.

I don’t own a cellular or PHS phone. What should I do?

- Can you complete Easy! Activation even if you don’t speak Japanese?

The activation process can be conducted through both English and Japanese . The system will automatically prompt you to select which language you wish to use.
- I have only recently arrived in Japan and I do not have a cellular or PHS phone. How can I activate my b-mobile?

- How long does it take my b-mobile to activate following Easy! Activation?

Your b-mobile will activate within 15 minutes of Easy! Activation.
- What happens if I don’t complete Easy! Activation?

You will not be able to access the Internet using your b-mobile.
- What types of phone can be used for Easy! Activation?

Cellular and PHS phones beginning with the suffix 090, 080 and 070.
- Is Easy! Activation the same as User Registration?

No, Easy! Activation is a required to use b-mobile and is a different process from user registration.
- I own several b-mobile products. Can I use the same number for Easy! Activation on them all?

Yes, you can activate multiple products using the same cellular or PHS phone.
- I want to give my b-mobile away. What should I do about Easy! Activation?

If you decide to give your b-mobile away to a friend or other party, you can remove your Easy! Activation information and reset your b-mobile by contacting the b-mobile Helpdesk. Your b-mobile will then require its new owner to complete Easy! Activation prior to use.
- I share a b-mobile card with several users. What should we do about activation?

Please select a “representative” out of your group and activate using his/her cellular or PHS phone.
- My friend gave me his b-mobile. Can I change his/her Easy! Activation information to my own?

- Can JCI delete the information I used to activate my b-mobile?

Yes. However, once your activation information is deleted, your b-mobile will not be able to access the Internet until Easy! Activation is completed again. For details, please contact the b-mobile Helpdesk.
- I have changed my phone number. What should I do about Easy! Activation?

Please complete activation again using your new phone number. For details, please contact the b-mobile Helpdesk.
- I accidentally entered the wrong phone number/PSID when completing Easy! Activation. What should I do?

Please call the Easy! Activation number again and complete the activation process by entering the correct phone number/PSID.
- Do I need to use the same phone number for Easy! Activation and User Registration?

No, that is not a requirement.
- I have been using b-mobile since before Easy! Activation required. Can I continue to use my b-mobile?

Yes, however you will be required to complete the activation process if you purchase an Extend License that requires Easy! Activation.
- My b-mobile USB 3G Connector/data card has been replaced because of loss/theft damage. Do I need to complete Easy! Activation again?

No. Your Easy! Activation information is automatically carried forward to your new data terminal.
- I would like to see my Easy! Activation information. How do I access this information?

JCI will only provide the Easy! Activation information to you after confirming that you are the person who activated the b-mobile, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- What is the information provided during Easy! Activation used for?

The information is attached to your b-mobile in our system for user authentication purposes. JCI will not use the information for any other purpose. However, the information will be provided to the police should it be officially requested through a search warrant.
